1. Video Resolution
Higher resolution provides clearer images, but also creates larger video files. If the camera is mainly used to monitor animal activity, choose a resolution that fits your needs instead of always using the highest setting.

2. Recording Length
If an animal only takes a few seconds to pass in front of the camera, setting a long recording time may create many videos with little useful content. Adjust the recording length according to the animals and environment.

3. Loop Recording
If supported by your camera, loop recording can overwrite older files when the SD card becomes full, helping prevent the camera from stopping due to insufficient storage.

4. Check and Back Up Regularly
Check the SD card regularly and back up important photos and videos to a computer or other storage device.
